Pro Hands Membership Privileges and Conditions
We are pleased that you have selected Pro Hands Companies, and we look forward to serving you. The privileges and conditions of Home Works Membership are described below. 1. Membership Benefits and Options
A Home Works and/or a Business Works Membership provides one Membership Account issued to a person that is residing primary at the listed residence and/or a Business on an established account. As the Primary Member as confirmed by Pro Hands. Up to three (3) additional supplemental properties may be added to the account. Membership Privileges are only for use by the person holding the Account. Membership is effective for one year from enrollment. And for our senior residential members, (the qualifying age for this program is currently 64.) we offer Home Safe, a program that provides a bi-monthly call to the member residential main number on file, this service will conducted within normal operating business hours, to insure the safety and/or service that your property may require. Upon your request this service will be provided by us, up to one month, after your membership has expired and/or has been canceled.
Business Works Membership provides one Membership and one Business Supplemental property, at no additional charge, that may only be issued to a business associate and up to four (3) Supplemental properties may be added to the account at an additional fee for each business. (A “business” is defined as one business address.) Membership is effective for one year from enrollment.
2. Refund and Return Policy
Merchandise purchased at the home center may be returned for a refund or exchange within thirty (30) days of purchase with original invoice and in the original carton, except as noted below. Without an invoice, a refund will be issued on a Pro Hands Gift Card with management approval except where prohibited by law. Repair of products covered under a manufacturer’s limited warranty must be handled through an authorized service center and should not be returned to Pro Hands; Please see our return policy for complete details.
3. Purchasing, Payment Procedures
Pro Hands accepts cash, checks, Visa®, Card, MasterCard®, debit cards. Checks are subject to an approval process. No discounted sales or services will be offered to any person unless such person has a valid Membership account. Sales cannot be made to minors.
4. Returned Check Policy
All returned checks are subject to a service fee as determined by state law and any legal fees incurred by Pro Hands to recoup payment. Service fees are subject to change without notice. Pro Hands reserves the right to suspend or cancel Membership privileges when a Member does not make good on a returned check and to pursue appropriate legal remedies to recover such monies.
5. Business Member Resale Permit and Taxes
If the Member intends to purchase merchandise for resale and claim an exemption from sales tax, Pro Hands must have a valid, signed state Resale Organization Certificate on file of Membership. If the Member is purchasing merchandise on behalf of an exempt organization, Pro Hands must have a valid signed state Exempt Organization Certificate on file. The Member must have an accurately complete the Supplemental Certificate of Resale or Exempt Organization Certificate on file at the time of purchase. The Primary Membership holder shall immediately notify Pro Hands Companies if the Resale Certificate is on file with is invalid or if the description of products to be resold has been changed. All purchases by tax exempt organizations in the states of CT, ME and RI must be paid for with an organizational check or credit card. In the states of FL and NY, all purchases by tax exempt organizations must be paid for with an organizational check, credit card, or cash.
Primary Members agree that in the event that they fail to pay sales tax, all will hold Pro Hands Companies harmless from and indemnify Pro Hands against any claim, loss or expense arising out of such nonpayment, and Pro Hands reserves the right to suspend or terminate the corresponding Membership in such case. In the event any taxable property purchased without tax is not resold or used or consumed by the exempt organization for the purpose to which the exemption applies, it is understood that the Members are required by applicable state and local tax law to report and pay tax, measured by the purchase price of such property or other authorized amount.
6. Membership Money-Back Guarantee and Cancellation of Authorized Card User
Members who are dissatisfied may cancel their Membership at any time and request a refund of Membership fees paid for the current Membership, except where prohibited by law. Any cancellation by any authorized Member can be made online or sent in writing via letter to Pro Hands Companies, Attn: Membership Services, 108 Moss Creek Drive Greenwood S.C. 29646.
7. Non-transferability and Cancellation of Membership
Pro Hands Membership is to be used only by the individuals to whom they are issued. Pro Hands Companies reserves the right to require personal information to be listed on account. Pro Hands technicians may require you to verify your Membership for identity purposes. Membership is non-transferable. The Primary Member (or an owner or officer of a Business Member) shall have the sole authority to make changes to the Membership and receive and request appropriate information. Cancellation of Primary Membership will cancel Supplemental accounts. Supplementary Members may receive information about their own Membership, however, Membership fee refunds will only be paid to the Primary Member. The Primary Member must be eighteen (18) years of age to purchase a Membership. Supplemental Members and Household Members over 18 may be added if they reside at the same address. Sale of certain items, including but not limited to aerosol spray paint will be subject to legal age restrictions. Pro Hands reserves the right to require valid government-issued identification for Membership enrollments and changes. Pro Hands Companies reserves the right to deny Membership to any applicant and terminate Membership at its discretion. Membership is subject to all rules adopted by Pro Hands and may be amended from time to time without notice to or consent by Member. Membership Material remain the property of Pro Hands Companies and Pro Hands may require you to surrender such material at any time.
8. Availability of Items
Due to a significant amount of inventory that may not be replenished, Pro Hands does not offer rain checks for out-of-stock items.
9. Reissuance of Gift Cards without Receipt
Pro Hands cannot reissue a lost Gift Card without the original invoice, which contains the Gift Card number. Pro Hands will reissue the remaining balance on record as of the date of requested reissuance.
10. Opt-out Policy
Members can opt out of any Pro Hands promotional communication at any time by requesting to do so at Pro Hands Member Services, via email to member@prohandsatwork.com or by sending notification to Pro Hands at Pro Hands Companies, 108 Moss Creek Drive Greenwood S.C. 29646. You may still periodically receive email from Pro Hands Specialty Business partners from whom you may have purchased goods or services and must unsubscribe from receiving promotional materials directly with such partners. Senior residential members may Opt-out of our Home Safe program at any time with one simple call to our service center.
11. Privacy Policy
Pro Hands respects your right to privacy and our documented Privacy Policy details our practices and policies. We are the sole owner of collected information and we will not sell, share or rent this information in ways different than disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
