Why can’t I navigate this site?

This site uses the latest technology.  As such you may have to install or update your browsers add ons.  Most web browsers will recognize the need for updates and prompt you to do this automatically.  For those browsers that need to be updated or configured correctly please note the following instructions:

Who is sent to my house to do the work?

Our experienced technicians arrive at your home or business, on time, and ready to work. Our technicians are insured. Our attention to detail in customer service and punctuality to your needs sets us apart from the rest.

Will I need to have the materials in order to do the job?

With our advanced scheduling our technicians will arrive at your home or business with the proper material for your service call. We stock many common items which mean fewer trips to the supply store during our visits. If there are any materials needed for your job, you have several options:
• Purchase those materials ahead of time saving money associated with material handling/pick-up costs.
• Do the shopping for any materials not on hand while our technician is working at your home/business.
• Follow the technician to the store to pay directly for the materials giving you the advantage of the technician’s professional expertise and the use of the van to transport those materials
• Purchase the available items from ours online store in head of your service call. • Have our technicians pick up the materials for you from your local supply store. However, please know that if the technician gets your supplies, he is “on the clock” and this time is billed at our regular rate.

What type of warranty or satisfaction guarantee do you offer?

Your satisfaction is our guarantee. You can trust Pro Hands experienced, insured, technicians to repair and maintain your home or business. Pro Hands has one priority and that is that the service we provide is On Time Every Time.

Are your technicians bonded and insured?

Yes, all Pro Hands technicians are bonded and/or insured. At Pro Hands our technicians and are covered under general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

Why is it important that a person who is providing service in my home is insured?

If the technician gets injured during the job they are covered under workers compensation. There will be no need to make a claim on your home owner’s insurance policy.

Can I get an estimate for my job?

We at Pro Hands can appreciate your desire for an estimate. We have found that in the time it takes to gather multiple quotes Pro Hands can have the job completed. In most cases we can give you a good time estimate over the phone. When the Pro Hands technician arrives at your home he will review the job with you to confirm the length of time needed to complete the job and then start working on your project.

How do I pay?

You can either give a check to the technician at the end of the job, or in most areas you can pay by credit card.

How long will it take for me to receive a credit once I return an item?

We issue return credits within 5 to 7 business days of receiving the returned item at our warehouse.

How do I report a damaged or defective product?

Please contact prohandsatwork.com Online Customer Support at 1-866-558-6209 as soon as you discover that your product is damaged or defective between the hours of 8AM-9PM EST Monday through Sunday (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day) upon discovering any damage or defect with an item ordered online. All damages should be reported within 5 to 7 business days of delivery.

May I return items to my local Pro Hands Office?

Currently, most items purchased on prohandsatwork.com can not be returned to your local Pro Hands office.

Can my credit be applied to a different credit card other than the one that was used at the time of purchase?

Refunds can only be issued to the original form of payment used for the purchase. We can, however, issue your refund in the form of a Pro Hands Gift Card, if requested.

Are original and return shipping charges refundable?

Pro Hands will not reimburse original shipping charges or return shipping charges for products that are returned due to purchaser regret. We will, however refund these charges in cases where the return is a result of a shipping error or if the item arrives damaged or defective.

What if I apply the incorrect return code?

We will inspect all packages upon receipt at our warehouse. In the case of defective merchandise, if it is found to be in good working order the return code will be updated and shipping charges will be applied accordingly. How do I know if my return label is for UPS or FedEx? The return label will indicate either UPS or FedEx, showing the logo of the carrier to use.

Where can I drop off a return with a United Parcel Service (UPS) return label?

Packages can be dropped off at UPS locations including drop boxes, The UPS Store, Mail Boxes Etc. or can even be given directly to a UPS driver. For a listing of UPS locations in your area, please visit UPS.com.

Where can I drop off a return with a Federal Express (FedEx) return label?

Packages can be dropped off at FedEx locations including drop boxes, FedEx Kinko’s, FedEx Authorized Ship Centers or can even be given to a FedEx driver. For a listing of FedEx locations in your area, please visit FedEx.com.

How do I know if my order was shipped through Home Box Delivery?

Home Box Delivery shipments are typically for larger product orders that are scheduled through a special Home Delivery agent and delivered to your home. These are for items that cannot be shipped through small parcel carriers like UPS or FedEx.

If I have a question about my return, who do I contact?
